📣 West Virginians with disabilities — we want to hear from you!
The West Virginia Statewide Independent Living Council (WVSILC) and the West Virginia Independence Network (WIN) are holding State Plan for Independent Living (SPIL) Listening Sessions across West Virginia this October.
The SPIL helps guide Independent Living services in West Virginia for the next three years — including how funding is used, what services are provided, and how our statewide Independent Living network can better meet the needs of people with disabilities.
If you are a West Virginia resident with a disability, family member, or caregiver, this is your opportunity to tell us what YOU think Independent Living services in West Virginia should look like.
📍 October 15 at 2:00 PM — Mountain State CIL, Huntington
📍 October 22 at 2:00 PM — Mountain State CIL, Beckley
📍 October 27 at 2:00 PM — LiveAbility, Elkins
📍 October 29 at 2:00 PM — Appalachian CIL, Charleston + virtual attendance available
Your experiences and ideas matter. Please join us and help shape the future of Independent Living in West Virginia! ♿💙
