We had a busy and beautiful weekend here at Friends of Deckers Creek! It was so much fun to celebrate with our friends at Wild Birds Unlimited for their grand opening on Saturday and meeting some amazing birds from the Avian Conservation Center of Appalachia. Sunday was our Paint & Sip event at the WOW! Factory and we had a blast!
Thanks to everyone who joined us around town this weekend, have a great week!

Interested in an organized gardening day?? You've got it! FODC staff will be at the Outdoor Learning Park (location information included below) from 8am-6pm on Tuesday, October 13th. Help us show our park some love and get our hands dirty in the watershed!
All gardening tools and supplies will be provided. Bring water and a friend!

The Outdoor Learning Park is located along the Deckers Rail Trail directly behind the Kroger in Sabraton (1851 Earl L Core Rd, Morgantown). Park on the left side of the store and a labeled path will take you straight to the park!

Friends of Deckers Creek has spent three decades restoring the watershed, improving water quality, and bringing life back to the creek, and they're celebrating those wins on August 21!
