Today we were reminded that heroes don’t always wear capes, sometimes they wear backpacks and big smiles. 💙
We had the honor of receiving a donation from these incredible students from Morgan County Elementary School’s 4th grade STLP team. Through their project, Happy Days, these young leaders recognized a problem in their community and used technology and creativity to help solve it.
Using 3D printers, they created and sold printed items and used the proceeds to purchase basic needs items for our unhoused neighbors. Their donation included pillows, blankets, hygiene items, and more.
When they delivered everything, they shared that they wanted to help meet basic needs so individuals could better focus on finding housing and employment and not sweat the small stuff. What an inspiring perspective from students who are only 9 and 10 years old.
Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and action speak volumes. We are so grateful for their generous hearts and the difference they are already making.
Tomorrow they head to Lexington to compete in the 2026 Student Technology Leadership Program State Championship, and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way.
To us, they’re already champions!✨
Thank you, Happy Days team, for showing us that no one is too young to change the world.
