Chris is sick and he was going to meet everyone at Huck’s I will be at hucks TOMORROW 05/12/2026 at 7pm for anyone to pick up or buy! We apologize for the last minute change. Today, the Pride of Morehead Board is sharing the letters we have sent to Kentucky’s state leadership (including Governor Beshear, Lieutenant Governor Coleman, First Lady Beshear), as well as to Morehead’s leadership, Mayor Laura Whitebrown. These letters address the challenges and abrupt cancellation of this year’s Pride Festival.

We believe in transparency, advocacy, and leading with love. Our community, vendors, and entertainers deserve answers, accountability, and the opportunity to celebrate together. By sharing these letters publicly, we hope to foster open dialogue, encourage equitable treatment, and inspire positive change for future events.

We invite you to read our correspondence, join us in calling for clarity and support, and continue uplifting the voices of all who make Morehead a vibrant and welcoming community.

We had so much fun at the 3rd Annual Pride of Morehead Festival!

Although the rain tried to w**d us out we prevailed and returned to the stage at MSU later at 6PM

Thank you all for coming out and making this day happen! We are more than happy with how things panned out!

We had a fantastic time at the Pride of Morehead After Party !
Huge thank you to all who were involved and everyone who came out to meet and celebrate with us! We wouldn't be here without you!

We are sincerely sorry that we had to shut down today we are very upset and disappointed and hope everyone still had a good time however we will be picking up where we left off at 6pm on MSU campus in ADUC!!!! This event is free and for all ages until 10:00pm! The after party follows right after in the same room tickets are 15 each with after party tables available!! Don’t miss this show Chris Housman will still be performing as well at 7 pm!
