Staff wore purple today to show our support for survivors of domestic violence. Our community is fortunate to have D.O.V.E.S. of Gateway as a 24/7 emergency safe shelter for victims of domestic violence and their children. All services are free and confidential. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month but we should recognize the importance of standing up for survivors of domestic violence every day. Behind every statistic is a person who needs respect and support.

Frontier is leading two major projects in Maysville: the Hayswood Hospital remediation and remodeling with Buffalo Trace Area Development District and Charles Place Apartments in partnership with the Housing Authority of Maysville. What's Next EKY introduces Learning Journeys, day-long gatherings that bring our network to a community to learn, connect, and be inspired by what neighbors across Eastern Kentucky are building.

Our first stop: Floyd County. Floyd County has powerful stories of recovery and reinvention. We're going to hear their story from the people who know it best, local residents, community leaders, and changemakers who've been doing this work through the hardest of times.
