Frontier Housing celebrated NeighborWorks Weeks May 23-June 7 with the pouring of the foundation on our 6th home at New Hope Estates in Prestonsburg, KY, right before an Open House to showcase the housing development. Frontier provided information about safe, affordable housing available through our grant and loan programs. Children played games, painted bird houses, and more while their families toured move-in ready homes and homes under construction. New Hope Estates is one of Kentucky’s higher-ground communities, giving priority to survivors from devasting floods in Eastern Kentucky in 2021, 2022, and 2025. Our partners helped promote our NeighborWorks Weeks activities through social media posts and radio interviews. Thank you Adam with New Country 98.9 WSIP Radio for interviewing Frontier’s Director of Housing Preservation Cassie Kinney about New Hope Estates.

Meet Kaleigh Zeigler

Title: Community Development Specialist

Time with the ADD: 4 years

What Does Kaleigh Do?

In her role as a Community Development Specialist, Kaleigh work's closely with local governments in the BTADD region to provide grant writing services, application submittals, project administration, and GIS mapping services. She is also one of two FAA Part 107 Certified sUAS operators at the ADD.

Kaleigh graduated from Western Kentucky University in December of 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Geography & Environmental Studies, as well as certificates in Geographic Information Systems and Environmental Health.

Fun Facts:
- I can play the cello.
- I teach preschool Sunday School at my church

Hobbies:
- Crafting of all kinds
- Playing pickleball

Favorite color: Purple

Favorite Vacation Destination: Visiting national parks, my favorite so far has been Yosemite in California
