Be the first to introduce yourself, invite someone into a conversation, or reach out to someone you don’t know well. Small steps now can help prepare you to build lasting friendships later.

To “I can start learning how to build community now.”

🎶Your relationship with God isn’t just intellectual. It’s personal, too.

Emotions are a natural part of how God created us, and there’s a place for them in worship and in our everyday lives. Whether you’re experiencing joy, sadness, or something in between, you don’t have to ignore what you’re feeling. Learning to acknowledge and work through your emotions is part of growing in your faith.

SUNDAY SHIFT

College is about more than classes, grades, and earning a degree. It’s also an opportunity to build meaningful friendships, grow in your faith, develop independence, and discover more about who you are.

As you explore colleges, don’t just think about what you’ll study. Think about the community you’ll be part of, the opportunities you’ll have to grow, and the kind of person you want to become.

See you next Sunday🤍

👉🏼Culture is constantly shaping us, often in ways we don’t even realize.

When you’re surrounded by certain ideas, beliefs, and behaviors every day, it’s easy to start accepting them as normal without questioning whether they’re true. That’s why it’s so important to know what you believe and why you believe it before heading to college. The stronger your convictions, the better equipped you’ll be to engage with culture without simply being shaped by it.
