We’re proud to share the impact of a District Grant made possible through the collaboration of the Twin Rivers Rotary and Moline Rotary Clubs!
This funding supports the expansion of Assistive Technology (AT) across schools in the Moline-Coal Valley School District—helping ensure that students with disabilities have the tools they need to succeed both academically and socially.
This initiative goes beyond equipment. High school engineering students at Moline High School have and will continue to play an active role in designing and creating adaptive technology using 3D modeling, printing, wiring, and assembly. These student-built solutions will become part of a district-wide lending library, accessible to educators from preschool through high school.
This effort fosters:
• Greater accessibility for students
• Collaboration between general education, honors, and special education programs
• Real-world problem-solving experiences for over 90 engineering students
• A growing, adaptable resource that evolves with student needs
This is a powerful example of community partnership creating meaningful, lasting impact. Thank you to everyone involved in making inclusive education a priority!
