🎉 Celebrating 50 Years of Dedication! 🎉

Today, we are honored to celebrate an incredible milestone—Becki Maxon's 50th Work Anniversary with the Two Rivers YMCA!

When Becki first joined the Y, there were only a handful of employees. Over the past five decades, she has worn many hats and made an impact on thousands of lives through roles including lifeguarding, swim lesson instruction, CPR training, and so much more.

Becki has truly been a part of the YMCA's journey, witnessing the growth and transformation of the Moline-East Moline YMCA through numerous building expansions, renovations, and generations of members. Her commitment, knowledge, and passion for serving others have helped shape the Y into what it is today.

For 50 years, Becki has been teaching life-saving skills, building confidence in swimmers, mentoring staff, and creating lasting memories for families throughout our community. Her dedication to the YMCA mission is unmatched, and her legacy can be seen in every corner of our organization.

Please join us in congratulating Becki on this remarkable achievement and thanking her for five decades of service, leadership, and care. ❤️

After two days of rain, the sunshine finally returned and our campers made the most of it! ☀️😎

Our Moline-East Moline and Rock Island camps teamed up and spent the day exploring the zoo, getting up close with amazing animals and enjoying a fun outdoor adventure. 🦁🐒🦒

Back at the Moline-East Moline YMCA, the rest of the campers bounced their way through the day with inflatables, showed off their creativity with face painting, and enjoyed plenty of outdoor games with friends. 🎨🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🎪

There’s nothing better than fresh air, sunshine, and smiling faces after a rainy stretch. We’re loving every minute of summer camp fun! 🌞❤️

While Riverside Riverslide may be closed for the day (Thursday, June 11), the good news is that tomorrow is EARLY ENTRY day for all Two Rivers YMCA Members.

Starting at 11:30am all of our members will be able to enter Riverside Riverside, get your spots set up and enjoy the slides before the waterpark officially opens at noon.

Weather Update with Riverside Riverslide today.

UPDATE: Swim Lessons will be moved to the Moline-East Moline YMCA tonight out of precaution. Tonight's Swim Lesson participants will be receiving an email shortly.

** UPDATE: Water walking/lap swim for tonight has also been cancelled due to continued inclement weather.

⛈️ Due to inclement weather, Riverside Riverslide is closed for the remainder of the day. Staff will reevaluate conditions at 4:00pm to determine whether water walking and lap swim will take place this evening.

☔ Camp Update! ☔

The rain may have moved us indoors today, but the fun is still going strong! 🎨🎲

Our campers are making the most of this rainy Friday with extra crafts, games, and some well-deserved time to relax and recharge. From creative projects to friendly competitions, there have been plenty of smiles and laughter throughout the day.

Sometimes a rainy camp day creates some of the best memories! 🌧️💙

We hope everyone has a great weekend, and we can't wait for more adventures next week!

While the parking lot expansion and field work continue at the Golf Learning Center, outdoor hitting will be unavailable at this time.

But you can still work on your game with our Indoor Golf Simulator! 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♀️

📅 Reservations available online or by calling the Y
⏰ 30-minute time slots available from 1:00–5:00 PM
$10 for Two Rivers YMCA Members
$20 for Community Members

Whether you're fine-tuning your swing or just looking for some fun, the simulator is a great way to stay in the game while improvements are underway.

🌱🌼 Our Youth Leadership Academy campers were hard at work yesterday helping bring our summer garden to life at the Spirit, Mind & Body Center! 💪

The group spent the day pulling weeds, refreshing the soil, and planting a variety of vegetables and flowers that will grow throughout the summer. This year's garden includes green beans, peas, carrots, squash, cauliflower, and plenty of beautiful flowers! 🌿🥕🌻

We're proud of these young leaders for giving back to their community, learning new skills, and helping create something that everyone can enjoy. Great job, campers! 👏
