We take great pride and remarkable pleasure in announcing Madam Rebecca Barshell as our Personality of the Week. Madam Barshell wore the title "Chairlady" with honor and dignity. She served KDA and later KDDA as Chairlady of the Women Wing. Her services spanned multiple administrations and she demonstrated her leadership ability by mobilizing the Kparblee District women to accomplish great tasks outlined by various administrations. Following the sudden death of President Richard Dayee, there was a lull in the functioning of KDA. During this dormant period, Chairlady Rebecca Barshell and a few other distinguished women sprang into action and through their relentless efforts, KDA was given renewed life. Madam Barshell is the longest serving Chairlady of Kparblee District women. Though she gracefully retired a couple of years ago, she remains an integral part of major decision making and continues to serve when called upon. Madam Barshell, we, the people of Kparblee District, extend our deepest thanks and appreciation to you for your tireless services to our people.
