Happy Tartan Day! This day celebrates Scottish heritage, pride, and independence, since it's the date of the Declaration of Arbroath.

Because it fell on Easter Monday this year, we are celebrating on Sunday, April 12, 2026 instead. Meet us at Kavanaugh's in Rock Island starting at 5:30 pm for a casual celebration of Scotland!

Food available through Chevin's kitchen onsite.

From ancient clan traditions to modern style, tartan tells the story of Scotland’s heritage. Every pattern carries history, every colour reflects a legacy passed down through generations.

Which clan tartan do you represent? 👀

A Grand group at the Grand Parade. We made lots of friends including the marching Elvi (plural of Elvis,) and this biking leprechaun! Thanks to Jim M for bringing the party hay wagon and driving the truck (TDR Carriages of Aledo, IL) and to members Rich and Cindy, Mary, Judy H, Judy R, and Lisa for riding and waving.

Cindy M, we missed you. Hope you are feeling better soon!

What a great time we had!

Did you see the Scottish dance number in the Olympics ice dance finals from the British team? It was a lot of fun! They didn't medal, but it was still lovely.

Link to a previous performance in comments if you missed it.
