📣 COMMUNITY ROOM WITH THE CLOSET IS OPENING ONE EXTRA DAY A MONTH !

Starting October 3rd, the Community Room will be open on the first Saturday of every month from 9:00 AM–12:00 PM! As well as every Tuesday & Wednesday from NOON-THREE PM!

👕 Clothing for all ages — men, women & children
🥫 Limited perishable & non-perishable foods
🤝 All are welcome!
❤️ No complications — just come and get what you need.

Despite hospital stays, medications, procedures, and everything this little girl has endured, Hadley has been looking forward to one thing for months. Prom.

Everyone is invited to the Rust Belt Saturday for Hadley's Fall Flamingo Ball.

Dress up and make it a true “prom” night or come completely casual. Your ticket includes free food, music, dancing, and fun!

Everything available is completely FREE to the community! No ID and no appointment are needed — walk-ins are always welcome!

Available resources may include:

🤝 COMMUNITY COMING TOGETHER

QC Forward and Living Water Christian Center Community Room have partnered with Moline Police Department to provide 24/7 access to The Closet, allowing them to better serve the needs of our community during calls.

We are so grateful for the dedicated volunteers and officers who answer the calls and step up to help meet the needs of our community. ❤️

Times are tough, and people are facing challenges that can feel overwhelming. This is exactly why coming together, looking out for one another, and being there when someone needs a helping hand matters more than ever.

We may not be able to fix everything, but together, we can make sure no one has to face it alone.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone volunteering their time, opening the doors, answering the calls, and serving our community. Your compassion and commitment make a difference. 🙏

The closure of the Tyson Foods plant in Joslin is affecting families across the Quad Cities, including here in Moline.

To our residents who worked at the facility, we know this is a difficult and unexpected transition.

If you’ve been impacted, resources are available to help:

🔹 City of Moline Emergency Rental & Utility Assistance – Help for eligible Moline renters experiencing financial hardship (link in comments)

🔹 Project NOW, Inc. – Housing, utility and other assistance

🔹 The Salvation Army Moline – Emergency assistance and support

🔹 River Bend Food Bank – Food assistance through local pantries and community partners

We’re thinking of all the workers and families affected by this closure and encourage anyone who needs support to reach out to these local resources. 💙

Men's Mindfulness Monday: Sound + Support

This event was so amazing to be a part of... it truly brought tears to my eyes. Bearing witness to a group of men being vulnerable and sharing their journeys was such an honor. And watching my friend Jason Willits step into his element and lead the discussion was a gift to see.
