Attention! 🚨

Proposed Naturalization Fee Increase: The Department of Homeland Security proposed a rule to raise the Form N-400 naturalization application fee from $760 to $1,330 for paper filings.

The plan also eliminates fee waivers and reduced-fee options for low-income applicants. The public comment period ends today, August 24, 2026, and current fees remain in place while the rule is reviewed.

At Monday's pantry, we served 635 people from our community, up from 390 last month.

With everything happening in our community right now, we know many families are facing uncertainty and difficult choices. Our food pantry wants to be there for our neighbors who may need a little extra help during these challenging times. We're grateful to help, but the growing number of neighbors coming through our doors reminds us that we can't do this alone.

Here are a few specific ways you can help:

Donate food: Bring nonperishable food items to our pantry.
Sponsor our pantry: Your financial support helps us purchase the food and supplies our neighbors need.
Volunteer: Give your time and help us serve the growing number of people who rely on our pantry.

Drop-off location: 1852 16th Street, Moline, IL 61265
Hours: M-F 8:30 AM–4:30 PM

Wedad’s Resilience ✨

Arriving in a new country is just the beginning of the journey. For many refugees and immigrants like Wedad, transferring degrees and language barriers make starting over feel almost impossible.

Refusing to give up after her degree was unable to transfer, Wedad partnered with World Relief Quad Cities’ Career Pathways program to rebuild her career from scratch.

Step by step, she rebuilt her future and continues to inspire others to keep reaching for their dreams.
