A huge THANK YOU to all of our 4th, 5th, and 6th grade athletes who came out and competed at yesterday’s Moline Youth Basketball tryouts. It was MYB’s largest tryout session EVER!

We saw a ton of hustle, hard work, determination, and great basketball throughout the tryout. We appreciate every athlete who stepped on the court and gave us their best effort.

We still have a makeup tryout this week, and once that is completed, we hope to have our 2026–2027 team rosters posted on our website within the next 5–7 days. (Makeup date/time still TBD)

Please keep an eye on our page for an announcement when the rosters are live.

The talent and energy we saw yesterday has us incredibly excited about what’s ahead. The future of Moline Basketball is looking BRIGHT! 🔥🏀

A huge THANK YOU to all of our Moline Youth Basketball families, players, and coaches who joined us tonight at the Bartlett Performing Arts Center for the Moline-Coal Valley School District Speaker Series! 🏀

What an incredible opportunity to hear from the Real Coach Carter, and experience firsthand the passion, discipline, accountability, and belief in young people that inspired the movie Coach Carter. His message was a great reminder that basketball is about so much more than wins and losses. It is about setting expectations, holding each other accountable, believing in yourself, and using the game to help build young people into great teammates, students, and leaders.

We are grateful our MYB community was able to share in such an inspirational night together. Thank you to everyone who came out and represented MYB!
