Safe Kids Missoula led by CHA Safe Kids Missoula Coalition is comprised of local safety experts and volunteers dedicated to protecting children from preventable injury.

Safe Kids Missoula, a local Coalition of Safe Kids Worldwide, was established in 1991. It has been led by Foundation for Community Health since 2014. The Coalition includes more than 30 safety experts and volunteers from nonprofit and government agencies dedicated to protecting children from unintentional injury-- the number one cause of death to children in the United States. Since 1988, Safe Kid

s Worldwide and its local coalitions have helped reduce the U.S. childhood death rate from unintentional injury by 60%. Safe Kids Missoula addresses issues identified by Coalition members and state and local statistics as safety priorities for western Montana families. We work together to increase awareness and create safer environments with the goal of preventing traffic injury, concussion, poisoning, child gun access and more. Safe Kids Missoula delivers hands-on education and take-action information through:
- Child Passenger Seat Checks
- Community Safety Events
- Educational Sessions
- Safe Kids Fair
