Club Past President Madeline Heitzman and Treasurer Clint Baertsch are representing our Club at the Yellowstone District Exchange Convention in Billings this weekend, alongside members of 13 other Clubs across the District.
In addition to networking, learning from a variety of speakers, and celebrating ACE and YOY awardees, they captured a picture of the District Officer installation and Clint sporting a cap he received from Judge Mary Jane Knisely after her presentation to the group. The cap is from CAMO “Courts Assisting Military Offenders.”

We learned from our Fire Agency Recognition honorees about their volunteer and paid teams and the scope of their calls, and witnessed the camaraderie across departments - such a night! We also celebrated the generosity of the Fraternal Order of Eagles group and all our donors who came together to be able to present a $2,000 donation to the Missoula County Fire Protection Association (mcfpa.org) for their fire education work. It is a gift to share in this work and to be able to honor these service leaders! 🔥 Thank you, Susan Reneau, for chairing this event committee this year!

This picture takes us back to our Fire Agency Recognition from last spring… and tomorrow, our 2026 Recognition will take place beginning at 5:30PM at the Broadway Inn’s Mullan Hall. This is one of the only events in our area that celebrates the fire educators and fighters - we’re honored to be able to do this, and to support their fire education in the schools. What a celebration day! Missoula’s Fraternal Order of Eagles joined us to share about their year-long efforts to engage the community and raise funds for the benefit of first responders. One tremendous result was the $12,000 check they presented to us to support our annual Officers of the Year and Fire Agency Recognition! Our thanks to President Sissy Joubert and all her team! 🙌🏻

The blood drive results are in! We had 16 units collected from our generous donors, units that can bring life to 48 or more patients, and that touch the lives of every blood donor, Red Cross staffer, Exchange volunteer, and beneficiary. Thank you to EVERYONE who supported this effort! 🩸

Mayor Davis and great partners with Parenting Place were on hand for Pinwheels for Prevention in Rose Park yesterday. Mayor Davis proclaimed this month for Strengthening Families, and Kelsey’s story was full of the reasons that Parenting Place’s work matters. Thank you all for bringing child abuse and neglect prevention to the forefront throughout April 🙌🏻
