Safe at Home enables eligible Minnesotans to participate in elections while protecting their home address and personal safety through a confidential absentee voting process.

If you are not registered in this program, you can still request to withhold your voter information from appearing to members of the public, if you believe your safety is endangered.

What’s on your ballot? Check out your sample ballot on the Secretary of State's website!

This election cycle, there will be a proposed constitutional amendment on all ballots. Did you know, in Minnesota, if you leave the constitutional amendment blank, that counts as a “no” vote?

The constitutional amendment that is proposed on November's ballot will increase funds that will be distributed to schools from the Permanent School Fund, an endowment established in 1858 to provide educational funding to Minnesota’s schools. Since 1858, 2.5% of the fund’s interests and dividends have been distributed to schools, and this constitutional amendment aims to increase funding to 4.5% of the 3-year rolling average growth value. Increasing this fund will not increase personal property taxes.

Register to vote early! To check if you are registered, simply visit https://mnvotes.sos.mn.gov/voterstatuscheck/index If you are registered, your information page will have a link to important resources, such as all the different candidates who are running for office.

If you are unable to register early, you can still show up to vote on Election Day or during the early voting period! Just visit https://www.sos.mn.gov/elections-voting/register-to-vote/register-on-election-day/ to find out how you can register on Election Day.

Hired hosted our second annual Back-to-School event at both Ramsey and Hennepin County last week. We are so excited to build this tradition of welcoming families into the new school year with a fun event filled with activities, community resources, and support.

Thanks to for providing backpacks filled with supplies, for supporting families with their amazing RV filled with professional clothing, hygiene products and more, and the incredible volunteers from , students are heading into the school year equipped with the tools and confidence they need to succeed. This is what community partnership looks like in action.

Minnesota, we have made history! More than 1.1 million Minnesotans cast a ballot in the 2026 primary, making it the first primary in the state's history to surpass 1 million votes. About 25% of eligible voters participated, breaking the previous primary turnout record of 925,554 votes set in 2018.

This new record shows that Minnesotans are making their voices heard. Every election matters, and every vote helps shape the future of our communities and state. Make your voice count in the upcoming November 3rd election.

The primary elections are an important way to participate in our democracy. Did you know while 77% of eligible Minnesota voters showed up to vote in the 2024 elections, less than 13% of voters participated in that same year’s primary election?

In Minnesota, employees have the right to take paid time off to vote (check out the Secretary of State’s website for more guidelines!), and eligible voters with felony convictions can vote if they are not currently incarcerated. Make your voice heard. Every vote matters.
