What an incredible day at Macy’s Ridgedale!

On Saturday, September 26, Macy’s Ridgedale hosted Be The Change MN for a special pop-up event to bring awareness to our community partnership and our shared commitment to supporting local youth.

Together, we’re raising funds to provide warm winter coats for 1,000 students attending our Winter Wonderland event on December 6, 2026. The event was a tremendous success, giving us the opportunity to share our mission and highlight the meaningful investment Macy’s continues to make in youth and families across our shared communities.

A huge thank you to the entire Macy’s Ridgedale team for an exceptional job bringing this event to life and for continuing to support Be The Change MN!

And don’t forget, Be The Change MN is Macy’s Ridgedale’s Round-Up partner through October 15. Every round-up helps provide youth with warm winter coats at this year’s Winter Wonderland event.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this partnership and our mission to make a difference in the lives of youth and families in our communities.

This is what community partnership looks like. ❤️

Last Saturday, Be The Change MN was proud to join The Sanneh Foundation and Cityview Community School for the first Cityview Community Food Distribution.

Beginning this month, families and community members can access this distribution every 3rd Saturday from 11 AM–1 PM.

When we come together, pull our resources, and share what we have, we can reach our communities in greater ways. At a time when rising food prices continue to place pressure on families, we believe in taking care of one another and ensuring our neighbors have access to the resources they need with dignity, care, and respect.

When organizations, schools, and community partners work together, we can create greater access, strengthen our communities, and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors.

A special THANK YOU to The Sanneh Foundation and Cityview Community School for your partnership and commitment to showing up for our community. And thank you to everyone who shared resources, volunteered, participated, and helped make this day possible.

This is community. This is partnership. This is what it means to take care of one another. ❤️
