March rent is due in 8 hours, help us support our Corcoran neighbors!

CNO is partnering with two groups in the community to extend their efforts to provide mutual aid to impacted households in Corcoran and nearby neighborhoods.

Over $150,000 has been raised and distributed already in January and February and we need your continued support to help our neighbors recover from the impacts of Operation Metro Surge and ensure we can all uplift and thrive in the months to come.

We have a lovely newly renovated office ready to be activated! One way of supporting our neighbors in this moment is to offer our space for free to community members and organizations who need a place to host meetings, trainings, or workshops. The office has capacity for around 20-30 people and there's tech available for hyrbid meetings. Reach out to [email protected] if you're interested! 🍄💗

This MLK Day feels like a better time than ever to reflect on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s words, and respond to the ongoing conflicts in our city and nation in kind. As a spiritual leader and an activist fighting for the civil rights of Black Americans, Dr. King was no stranger to the question of what one should do to actively combat injustice while showing care for those affected, as well for the situations of the people that encouraged the injustice to take place.

Today we encourage everyone to take action in service or in community to celebrate the legacy of Dr. King. Additionally, our friends at Powderhorn Park Neighborhood Association and the Minneapolis Parks and Recreation Board are holding a MLK Day Celebration at the Powderhorn Park Recreation Center. It will be free and fun for all ages, and a great way to be in active community with your neighbors!
