Eye Surgeries for Orphaned Children in Mogadishu – October 2024
In October 2024, a life-changing initiative took place in Mogadishu, where a group of orphaned children underwent critical eye surgeries. These children, who had been living with severe vision impairments, were given a second chance to see the world around them.

It was an honor to meet with the prime minister of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre in his office. I was able to discuss with him about the efforts of Safa Marwa (Samrado) and what we do for the disabled community in somalia, specifically the blind and orphan children.
I’m very happy to say the prime minister welcomed us with open arms. He expressed to us, the blind orphans community are the first priority, and that those who assist them will go to Jannah.

This past Friday we had a successful meeting with masjid Abu Huraira in Columbus Ohio. The community welcomed us with open hands may Allah continue to protect them and grant them janatul firdaws.

Samrado team had amazing dinner tonight, this dinner we discussed many things such as Samrado mission , and ways to improve it. We appreciate the volunteers and supporters who joined tonight. It was a truly amazing gathering. Keep an eye out for our forthcoming activities, inshallah!
