Meet Jesús.

He was born in a small community in Mexico with a cleft lip and palate.

From a very early age, he faced rejection, bullying, and the fear of a world that doesn’t always understand differences.

Trying to protect him, his parents kept him at home.

But fear was never meant to be the end of his story.

One day, his grandmother chose to change his future.

With love and courage, she brought him to Smile Network—where, for the first time, Jesús was met with kindness, dignity, and care.

Today, Jesús is about to receive the surgery that will transform his life.

For the first time, he will be able to go to school without fear.

To play, to learn, to make friends… and simply be a child.

And this is possible because of people like you.

In Mexico, Children’s Day is celebrated every year on April 30—a day that fills schools, homes, and hearts with joy, color, and laughter.

It’s one of the most cherished celebrations in the country, where classrooms turn into little fiestas, and every child is reminded just how deeply they are loved.

Today, we hold a special gratitude for the Smile Network families who shared these beautiful photos—each one a heartfelt thank you to the volunteers, translators, doctors, nurses, pediatricians, and every single soul who pours love into this mission.

Last Chance: The French Camino is Calling✨

We have sold out the first of two September 2026 treks and only have six spots remaining on our second trek taking place September 6-September 16th, 2026.

Due to the high demand for the small, boutique-style hotels on the French Camino, we reserve hotel rooms two years in advance. Before releasing the remaining rooms on March 15th, we’re hosting one final 2026 French Camino Information Meeting. Here are the details:
