We are thrilled to announce an exciting evolution at Unified Theory Collective! After eight months of fostering creativity and community through accessible art experiences, we’re transitioning to a new chapter. Starting March 1, Unified Theory Collective will pass its creative torch to Art Shelf, a new nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring everyone in our community has access to art supplies and creative spaces, free of charge. Art Shelf builds on our mission, operating similarly to a food shelf but with art supplies, while continuing to offer a welcoming space for creativity to flourish.
While Unified Theory Collective will no longer be the main tenant, our commitment to enriching the community’s creative landscape remains steadfast. We will continue to organize professional creative events and curate music events, maintaining our role as a catalyst for artistic expression and connection in South Minneapolis. Art Shelf will take over the lease, welcoming all to explore and engage in art without the barrier of cost, thanks to your generous donations.
This transition marks a significant milestone in our journey to make art universally accessible and foster a vibrant community of creators and appreciators alike. We’re immensely proud of what we’ve achieved together and are filled with anticipation for the boundless possibilities Art Shelf will bring.
