There's exciting growth happening at Saidiana's pig breeding project... and it comes with a few adorable new additions. 🐖

With the help of our supporters, the project now has secure pig pens and ongoing veterinary care to keep the animals healthy and thriving. These investments are helping the business grow while creating a reliable source of income for the women who run it.

Every milestone brings them one step closer to long-term financial independence, stronger families, and brighter futures. Thank you for making this progress possible.

Saidiana works to elevate the long-term economic well-being of Congolese women by helping them build thriving, sustainable businesses through microgrants and skills training programs.

One way donations and support is directly shown is through the farming initiative. Want to support these Congolese women, their families, and their economy? Visit the link in our bio to donate or learn more.

In 2022, a single funding request helped spark lasting change.

With support from Saidiana, a group of women purchased an egg incubator, allowing them to hatch and raise their own chicks. What started as a small investment grew into a sustainable source of income, with healthy chickens sold at local markets to support their families. Sometimes, one opportunity is all it takes to build something bigger. 💛 Learn more about the impact of supporting women entrepreneurs through the link in our bio.

Saidiana recognizes the great entrepreneurial spirit of the women of The Democratic Republic of Congo. Small grants are the fuel for this spirit, allowing these women to put their business dreams into action. Saidiana’s microgrants enable Congolese women, previously not served by other lending or grant-making organizations, the ability to start new businesses or enhance existing ones.

Through the financial support of our grant-giving model, these women now how the economic freedom to use their skills to earn money to feed and clothe their children. Sadiana works to uphold the standard of building long-lasting sustainable businesses, promoting economic stability for future generations to come.

SAiDIANA — pronounced sigh-dee-ana — means "help one another" in Kiswahili, the common language of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

At SAiDIANA, we elevate the long-term economic well-being of the women of Congo through micro-grants and skills training programs. Thriving businesses means our clients can feed and clothe their children. They can pay school fees and medical expenses. The benefits ripple out into their communities and elevate lives, now and in the future.

We are committing to a bold investment in the future of Congolese women. We can’t reach our goal without your support.

Education has the power to change a life, but for many girls in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, barriers stand in the way.

Limited access to secondary education, early marriage, and high rates of unplanned pregnancy make it difficult for many young women to continue their education and pursue the futures they envision.

At Saidiana, we believe investing in women means investing in opportunity. Through education, entrepreneurship, and community support, we're working toward a future where more women have the chance to choose their own path. 💛

Saidiana provide grants to support small groups of women in Lubumbashi and the surrounding area who will use the money to put their talents and business acumen into action. The funding is intended to enable them to start new businesses or enhance existing ones and lead to sustainable livelihoods. We deliberately serve impoverished individuals with drive and dreams who are not served by other lending or grant-making organizations.

Empower Congolese women to create a better future for themselves and their families by providing resources to support their business ventures. Learn more on our website!

Thanks to your generous support, the pig breeding project is thriving. We’re excited to share photos of the newest arrivals: healthy baby pigs!

Your donations helped complete the construction of the pig pens, creating a safe and sustainable environment for the pigs. Funding also covered veterinary visits, giving the team access to expert guidance on nutrition, care, and the essential vitamins needed for healthy pig growth.

These improvements are laying the foundation for a self-sustaining income source for the women, empowering them to support their families and invest back into their communities.

THANK YOU! 🐖
