🎁 Help us bring some holiday joy to local preteens and teens! 🎄

Pickering Automotive is joining Toys for Tots this year! While talking with one of the volunteers, we learned that our local program serves children through age 16. Every donation is appreciated, but preteens and teens sometimes get overlooked.

This year, we’d love to focus our collection on those older kids! ❤️

Looking for ideas? Here are a few:

🎧 Bluetooth headphones or earbuds
🧦 Cozy socks, hats, gloves, and scarves
🧥 Coats, hoodies, and sweatshirts
🎨 Art supplies, sketchbooks, and craft kits
🏀 Basketballs, footballs, and other sports gear
🎲 Board games, card games, and puzzles
📓 Journals, fun pens, and stationery
🧩 Building sets and model kits

You don’t have to spend a lot to make someone feel remembered this Christmas. ❤️

📍 Drop off new, unwrapped donations at Pickering Automotive Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Thank you so much for even considering a donation and for always showing up for our community. We appreciate you!

Toys for Tots opens applications on October 1st yearly and shut down around a week prior to distribution. We ALWAYS have distribution on the 2nd Saturday in December. We totally understand the rush and loss of time and thats why we leave our application open as long as we can. If people follow the page and share the information, there is no reason any family should ever have to go without. We do not change dates. We keep it the same every year for our people in need to have adequate time to request time off work or plan things around this. 2026 date will be Saturday December 12th from 9a-5p. Location will be decided once we are close and are able to ensure its location.

Now with 2025 season in the books, I want to thank all of the amazing volunteers and families. Many of the families truly went above and beyond to be kind to the volunteers. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART!!! You were so kind to the volunteers that many asked to return next year and many stuck around until the end due to your kindness. Which is what made the day possible. It ran pretty smooth after we got going. This year was probably one of the best we have had with very few issues. Thank you all once again. We will see you in 2026. Please remember we are always accepting new volunteers and and family in need. We all need to be the communities that support each other and stand united. Making sure everyone has what they need for the children. Merry Christmas.
