Come show off your costume, get a head start on trick-or-treating, and have tons of spooky fun as our Halloween Hullabaloo Family Fun Night returns Friday, Oct. 30!

You'll enjoy games like witches' hat ring toss and pumpkin bowling, have fun with mask making and coloring pages, hit our trick-or-treat stations, pose in our photo booth, and participate in our COSTUME CONTEST with prizes, plus plenty more!

Curling season is just around the corner at the Greater Midland Curling Center, and the Midland Curling Club is hard at work preparing the ice for an exciting season ahead. 🥌

If you’re curious about this unique, fun, and challenging sport, join the Midland Curling Club’s Learn 2 Curl events on Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1, from 1–3 p.m.

The cost is only $15, and participants will receive about 45 minutes of on-ice instruction, learning how to slide out of the hack, deliver a stone, sweep, and practice other curling fundamentals.

No equipment is required - everything will be provided by the club. Please wear warm, loose-fitting clothing and bring clean running shoes.

A reminder that this Friday, Oct. 2, is our FREE Neighboring Week Family Fun Night, loaded with activities you and your kids won't want to miss!

There's swimming, a bounce house, a silent disco, free ice cream from Cottage Creamery, a chance to meet police and firefighters, plus games and more.

This event also features our Used Book Exchange! This Wednesday, Sept. 30, is the final day to drop books off at our welcome desk to be included. We're accepting book donations of any genre for any age.

The picture books your kids have grown out of. The mysteries you’ve already solved. The sci-fi novels that are hitting a LITTLE too close to home these days. Load ’em all up and bring them to our welcome desk by Sept. 30 so they can find new readers in our community!

We’re accepting books of all kinds for our Used Book Exchange, which takes place during our free Neighboring Week Family Fun Night on Friday, Oct. 2, from 5–7 p.m. There will be plenty of activities for the whole family, and you can grab some books for yourself! Books that go unclaimed during the exchange will become part of the libraries at Greater Midland facilities, so they’ll still find a home.

Book drop-off is anytime during business hours: 5 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Sunday.

For nearly 40 years, the Tennis Classic brought professional tennis to our community and created countless memories for Midland families. We’re proud of the legacy it leaves behind and excited for what’s ahead at Greater Midland Tennis Center.

After nearly 40 years, the Tennis Classic has come to the end of its run.

Since 1989, this event has brought world-class emerging talent to Midland, created unforgettable experiences for fans and helped establish Greater Midland Tennis Center as a destination for professional tennis.

We are incredibly grateful to the players, sponsors, volunteers, employees, partners and fans who helped build this legacy.

While this chapter is coming to a close, our commitment to tennis and pickleball is stronger than ever. We’re looking ahead to new opportunities to grow racquet sports, develop players, expand programming and create an even better experience at the Tennis Center.

Thank you for being part of nearly 40 years of Tennis Classic history. We’re excited for what comes next.
