Today, on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, we honor Indigenous peoples’ histories, cultures, and the vibrant communities carrying their traditions forward. 💛

At Adoption Option Inc., our work in adoption, foster care, and family preservation brings us alongside children and families with diverse backgrounds and experiences. Every person’s story deserves respect, and every child deserves connection to their culture, heritage, and community.

As we support families, we have a responsibility to listen, learn, and honor those connections—not just today, but every day.

💚 October 10 is World Mental Health Day—a reminder that little minds need care, too.

Children deserve to feel safe, heard, and supported. Make space for big feelings, listen without judgment, and remind them it’s okay to ask for help. A simple “I’m here for you” can mean so much. 💛

💙 Connecting with our community, one step at a time!

Adoption Option Inc. was happy to be a vendor at Walk a Mile Wednesdays at in Detroit this past Wednesday! We enjoyed meeting neighbors, connecting with community partners, and sharing how you can help support children and families through foster care and adoption.

Thank you to Alternatives For Girls and the Detroit Police Department for bringing the community together—and to everyone who stopped by our table! 💙
