Haiti Foundation Against Poverty

✏️ 🍎 The new school year in Haiti is beginning soon! We have a list of children waiting for a sponsor. For $36 a month sponsors provide tuition, school books, and a uniform for their sponsored child.

Our students often consider their sponsors to be godparents because of the important investment they make in their lives. They are so thankful for the opportunity to go to school!

🧡 📚 School sponsorship is a beautiful way to change a child’s future forever.

We have a list of preschoolers waiting to begin their education! You can begin sponsoring a one of them by emailing [email protected] and requesting to begin a new sponsorship. Our office will match you with a student and direct you to set up your sponsorship payments.

For more information on sponsoring a student visit our website: https://haitipoverty.org/our-partners

We hope you will take a few moments to soak in a place and people we love. Your generosity is building these children a school, allowing the sick to have access to medical care, providing tools and seeds so families can farm and have stable food and income, and most importantly, introducing them to the Gospel - the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ.

Your donations and prayers are making a remarkable impact. Thank you for being part of our HFAP family.

We hope you enjoy this video - you are part of this story. Hope is on the horizon! ☀️ ⛰️ 🇭🇹

Nine and a half years ago we ran a campaign to build homes Hurricane Matthew destroyed. We were able to visit the village of Raynald where most of the 48 homes were built, and they still look great! After almost a decade, they are holding up well! 🙌 Praise God! A good, strong shelter is such a blessing.

Our Christmas gift giving campaign is LIVE! We are so excited for the joy and impact these gifts will make!

THE GIFT: 🎁
In honor of loved ones on your Christmas list, you can gift a family in rural Haiti a fruit tree and a chicken!

The chicken will provide eggs and the tree will provide fruit, as well as help combat deforestation by growing deep roots in the soil that protect vulnerable communities from landslides.

THE IMPACT: 🐓 🥚 🌴 🥭
The gift of chickens and fruit tress will reap a harvest of filled bellies, better nutrition, and strengthened communities for years to come!

HOW TO PARTICIPATE: ❤️

Head here to donate: https://app.aplos.com/aws/give/HaitiFoundationAgainstPoverty/Christmas2025

We will mail you a postcard like the image shown for each set of chickens and fruit trees you donate for, so you can give the postcard to the person you donated in honor of.

Bon Appetit! We have a lot of mouths to feed at the Hope House compound. Rice + Beans with vegetable sauce is a crowd pleaser!

If you have visited us in Haiti, do you remember this meal? What was your favorite Haitian dish? 🇭🇹
