Great visit up in Lupton last night with Ogemaw Baptist Church! Keep praying for them. They're looking for people to visit, help with music, and with food for fellowship after.

Please pray for Caro Lighthouse Baptist Church Pastor Michael D. Wester. He is at St. Mary's hospital in Saginaw with cardiac issues stemming from a procedure he had on Monday. He should be able to go home tomorrow. Please pray for Pastor Mike, Donna, and their church as he recovers.

Reminder... Churches... October is Pastor Appreciation Month!
Consider ways your church can show love and appreciation to your pastor.

Just a few ideas:
Gift cards (grocery, restaurants, gas, home improvement, Amazon, eBay, online bookstores like 10ofthose or C*D), tech upgrades, getaways, a family experience, a date-night package, marriage retreat, cards, letters, prayers, money, babysitting, childcare, doing something special for his wife, etc.

After our Annual Meeting, lunch will be served for those staying to participate in Michigan Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Basic Training. This should be over by 2:30pm. There will be an opportunity to train in various Disaster Relief responsibilities at Bambi Lake the week of October 11-17. More information about this will be shared at Basic Training.

I hope to see you, your messengers, and lots of guests at our Annual Meeting on October 10.

FROM MICHIGAN DR DIRECTOR BILL LaFOLLETTE:
Michigan Disaster Relief basic training will be held Saturday, October 10, from 12:30 – 2:30 pm at New Hope Church, 9885 Maple Rd, Birch Run, MI. This will follow the Bay Area Baptist Association (BABA) annual meeting. There is no cost to attend, but we need a headcount for lunch if you plan to attend.

Contact David Roberts at the BABA office by phone, text, or email, no later than October 3rd if you want to attend. Come learn about the mission of Disaster Relief and see if God is calling you to be a part of it!
