Day 2 of the III Points Music Festival is here! 🎶🚒

As thousands of festivalgoers return to Wynwood, City of Miami Fire-Rescue crews are back in position, working throughout the event to provide emergency medical services, fire protection, and public safety support.

🌧️ Heading to III Points tonight? The Miami weather forecast calls for thunderstorms, periods of heavy rain, and possible localized flooding. Stay aware of changing weather conditions, seek safe shelter if lightning approaches, and never walk or drive through flooded areas.

Our firefighters and paramedics are here if you need us. Enjoy the music, look out for one another, and stay safe, Miami!

The 39th Annual Children’s Fire Safety Festival was a tremendous success! Hosted this year by our neighbors at Miami Beach Fire-Rescue at the Miami Beach Convention Center, fire departments from across Miami-Dade County joined forces to educate over 1,000 children on fire and life safety. What an amazing week of teamwork, education, and community impact! Here’s to keeping our children and families safe, one lesson at a time!

Florida Task Force 2 is home! After completing their deployment to the Panhandle, the team has arrived home safely. Now it’s time to clean the entire fleet, turn in equipment, and debrief, getting everything ready for the next call for help. Welcome home, Florida Task Force 2! Great work!

Florida Task Force 2 (FL-TF2) deployed ahead of Tropical Storm Isaias’ landfall to support search and rescue operations.

Following the storm’s passage, FL-TF2 has worked alongside partner agencies to carry out multiple missions in some of the hardest-hit areas, including floodwater evacuations, wide-area searches, and aerial reconnaissance.

Early this morning, Florida Task Force 2 (FL-TF2) began air operations alongside the Florida Army National Guard's Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 185th Aviation Regiment.
FL-TF2 members boarded four UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters to conduct aerial search and rescue operations in areas impacted by Hurricane Isaias.
We are proud to work alongside the Florida Army National Guard as we continue our mission to assist communities impacted by the storm.

As Hurricane Isaias approaches, FL-TF2 continues coordinating with response partners. Members met with the Florida Army National Guard's Bravo Company, 1st Battalion, 185th Aviation Regiment, to prepare for potential aerial search and rescue operations following the storm's impact.
