For National Cuban Sandwich Day, the City of Miami Department of Fire-Rescue invited the LunchBoys and Que Riko Con Kiko to Downtown Fire Station 1 to taste and rate a homemade Cuban sandwich. Firefighter Alex Pena put together his own version of the classic Cuban sandwich, and it was a hit! His Cuban sandwich received an impressive 9.5 rating from the judges.

A big thank you to Firefighter Pena for taking the time to show everyone how it’s done, and a special thank you to Kiko Suarez and his Lunch Crew for coming out and being part of the judging. We had a great time!
