The Thrive Grant by small-business funding and coaching platform Breva is offered on a rolling basis throughout the year. The winner receives a $5,000 grant. The coming application cycles close on July 31 and Oct. 31, with winners typically notified about 45 days later.

Applicants must have demonstrated an impact on the surrounding community, such as new jobs, new products or making services more accessible. Applicants are strongly preferred to have been in operation more than a year and must be generating revenue prior to the grant.

Grants for women-owned businesses
The EmpowHer grants program is aimed at women business owners ages 22 years and up, with a business making a clear social impact, a record of revenue and no more than five years old. It also must be a for-profit business. Applicants can request up to $50,000 in grant support, funded as a reimbursement for business-related expenses.

Applications must include business plans and detailed budgets and are due by June 15.

Jobber, which offers software for home-services businesses, plans to award nine grants starting at $10,000 to businesses in home or commercial services — think construction, handyman, appliance repair and lawn care work, among others jobs. Jobber said it ultimately plans to award $250,000 in grants throughout 2026 and has issued 100 grants since 2021.
