Mewtopia Cat Rescue Located in Memphis, Tenn., Mewtopia is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization that has been rescuing cats and matching them with loving homes for 26 years.

Mewtopia Cat Rescue is a non-profit community service organization that rescues homeless, abused, abandoned or owner-relinquished cats. We help reduce the unwanted cat population by
- placing cats with responsible owners through adoption
- helping trap, alter and release stray/feral cats
- educating the public on responsible animal ownership

Hi! Remember me? I'm Caesar, and Mewtopia took me in after my mom passed away. I was so sad because I missed my home, and being an older kitty, I wasn't sure if anyone would want to adopt me.Then I met this really nice man and lady who came in and spent a lot of time petting and talking to me.They gave me hope that someone else could love me like my mom did and that I could find a forever home. I felt sad when they left because I didn't know if I'd ever see them again. But guess what? They came back the next week to take me home with them! As you can see, I'm all settled in and comfy in my forever home with the best mom and dad a kitty could have, and life is just purrfect.

My name is Rambi. My former owner found me when I was so tiny that I needed to be fed from a bottle. She took very good care of me as I grew into the beautiful tortie girl I am today. She gave me the best food, bought me a fancy litter box, and since I was an only kitty, she gave me all the pets, neck scratches, and treats. I never thought someone who did so much for me would give me up, but when she moved, she said I couldn't go. Thank goodness this nice place called Mewtopia took me in when I lost the only home and human I had ever known. I was so afraid and confused at first that I hid underneath my bed and only ate when no one was around. But the Mewtopia volunteers never gave up on me. They showed me love and gave me the time I needed to feel safe and secure again, and now I'm ready for my real forever home. Since I grew up as an only kitty, I think I'd be happiest as as a single cat in an adult home. I hope you'll come to Mewtopia and visit me today between 12-2.

Well, hello. I'm Growler, the self-appointed Mewtopia mayor. My responsibilities are welcoming visitors, getting in the middle of all activities, and when necessary, using my diplomacy skills to break up the kitty kerfuffles that can happen, even in a peaceful town like Mewtopia.
