Hope Lodge Memphis The American Cancer Society Memphis Hope Lodge provides free lodging for cancer patients and their caregivers traveling to Memphis for their cancer treatments.

At the Hope Lodge, we understand that undergoing treatment for cancer can be both financially and emotionally overwhelming. For many, treatment at Memphis-area medical centers provides the greatest hope, but requires that they are far from home, adding the additional burden of travel and lodging expenses. That is why the American Cancer Society Harrah's Hope Lodge will offer lodging at no cost for adult cancer patients being treated in the Memphis area beginning in late November 2010. Getting emotional and social support from other survivors can be as important as getting the proper medical care. At the Hope Lodge, patients live with other people going through similar experiences, and are supported by caring staff and volunteers. The nurturing, comfortable environment at Hope Lodge allows patients to focus on what is most important - fighting cancer.

We were honored to welcome West Cancer Center & Research Institute to Hope Lodge for a tour. Thank you for taking the time to visit, learn more about our mission, and for your continued support and partnership. 💙

🫶 Supporting Patients Beyond Clinic Walls 🫶

Members of West team recently visited the Hope Lodge Memphis to learn more about the incredible resources available to our patients and their families.

Our team — Lynda Nthiga, DO, Pelvic Surgery Fellow; Darcy Eastwood, MD, Breast Surgical Oncology Fellow; Jessica Dougan, Fellowship Coordinator; and Valerie Strange, Director of Patient Access Services — toured the facility and connected with staff to better understand how Hope Lodge supports patients during their journey.

Hope Lodge, a program of the American Cancer Society, provides free lodging for cancer patients and their caregivers who must travel away from home for treatment. By offering a comfortable place to stay, Hope Lodge helps ease the financial and emotional burden of cancer — allowing patients to focus on healing.
