Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,

We appreciate your past support in helping the Carolina Region Lay Ministry to provide scholarships for graduating high school seniors who are aspiring to pursue higher education and careers. We will, again this year, present a scholarship to a deserving student in each district of the Carolina Region in the amount of $750.00 each. Your continued assistance with this endeavor will help to make a difference in the lives and careers of our students. Can the Carolina Region students count on you?

We are asking each local church to donate $50.00 to the scholarship fund before the deadline date of Sunday, June 22, 2025.

Please make your check payable to the Carolina Region Lay Ministry. Donations should be sent to our treasurer, Mrs. Severne Budd, 503 Crawford Street, Shelby, NC 28150.

The 2024-2025 Carolina Region Lay Scholarship application is attached. The deadline for submission is June 28, 2025. Please encourage any graduating high school seniors from your church to apply for the scholarship. Thank you in advance for your support!

The Twenty-Ninth Pastors' Conference & Eighty-First Founders' Celebration hosted by the Phillips School of Theology will be held January 6-9, 2025.
The theme is, "Embracing Next: Unpacking the Challenges of Relevant Preaching, Exegeting the Text and our Time.”
