Happy Birthday Luisa! Today, we celebrate not only a birthday, but an extraordinary artist whose impact on Collage Dance will be felt for years to come.

After 10 remarkable seasons with Collage Dance Collective, Luisa Cardoso takes her final bow, leaving behind a legacy of artistry, excellence, and generosity that has helped shape our company.

From performing the works of George Balanchine, Nacho Duato, Joshua Manculich, Amy Hall Garner, Kevin Iega Jeff, Kevin Thomas, and many others, to inspiring the next generation as a beloved Conservatory faculty member and mentor, Luisa's influence reaches far beyond the stage.

"Dance has taken me to places I never thought I'd go." — Jordan Tate

Jordan began in our Turning Pointe in-school dance program at age 7. Nine years later, after training in the Collage Dance Conservatory and performing with Collage Dance Collective, he's headed to Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre as a trainee.

His journey is a powerful reminder of what's possible when young people have access to exceptional training, mentorship, and scholarships.
