Hi everyone! Willow here (formerly known as Nutmeg), just popping into your feed today to officially check in and give you one of the best adoption updates ever!

Since making things official more recently, I’ve been busy doing the very important work of settling into my permanent forever home. As you can see, I am already a professional at sharing the couch, the blankets, and all the love with my humans (yep, my mom’s buried in there somewhere) and my new fur siblings too.

Life is sweet, cozy, and filled with cuddles. Thank you all for following my journey—I’m truly living the good life! 🐾🛋️❤️

Y’all, this boy right here called Larry is absolutely perfect! We personally got to meet and spend some time with him last weekend at the fall festival. His demeanor is absolutely beautiful! If I didn’t personally have a full house already, I’d swoop him up myself as a personal adoption! Please consider Larry if you are looking for a new furbaby, you will not be disappointed.

PS - You can inquire anytime or even better, come meet him in person, this Saturday at a NCPP local adoption event! The Blue Morpho Curio Co. in Covington, GA (12pm-5pm).

Scars…they show where you have been, but they do not dictate where you are going. Larry has experienced trauma and we all know how that feels. Yet his strength and character allows him to love. It allows him to trust. It gives him the strength to walk away instead of fighting. Please don’t judge Larry by his scars and his breed. If you can be the person that can love him, because that’s all he wants, please send us a message. He is currently in foster with Rick Vuich and we would love to set up meet and greets. He is great with dogs and cats, housebroken and has gone through heartworm treatment. Please someone give him a chance! And now we’re pleased to announce that it’s been made official - she has found her forever home and family! ❤️

Hi there, friend! I’m Aniyah 🐶, and I’m sending you the biggest virtual tail wags and nose boops right now. I’ve been keeping my floppy ears perked up all weekend, just hoping and praying that you stayed safe and cozy, just like I did in my foster home, through all those scary storms and wild weather that might have come your way. ⛈️

Now that the skies are clearing, my foster humans told me some super exciting news! I had almost forgot! I get to go to the Covington Fall Festival next weekend (Oct 17th), and my absolute biggest wish is to see your smiling face there. 💫

I'll be the beautiful girl waiting patiently with a wagging tail, hoping you might be the forever family I’ve been dreaming of—so please come by, say hi, and maybe even sneak me a little belly rub! 🐾🐶🐾

📣📣 New Adoptable Alert - Ms. Nutmeg!!! 📣📣

This six month old, beautiful Lab/Cocker Spaniel girl has fully decompressed now and is proving to be quite the little Ms. smarty pants already!✨

Again, keeping in mind that Nutmeg is just now only six months old (26 lbs), here is a list of the commands that she has already proven to know in her foster home:
✅Sit
✅Down
✅Stay
✅Waits (patiently)
✅Drop It
✅Pillow/Bed

And to further impress us all too:
✅She only plays & chews on her things…all your furniture, socks and shoes are safe with her!
✅She only does appropriate barking!
✅She appears to be potty trained too!

✨🐾Welcome Nutmeg!🐾✨

This sweet right at 6 month-old Labrador & Cocker Spaniel mix is getting all settled in her new foster home, and we all are already completely smitten! 😍

As you can see, she’s a pretty small girl, currently weighing in at 26 lbs. And Nutmeg doesn’t have big 🐾 to grow into either, so we’re thinking she’s likely going to possibly be on the smaller side of a medium sized adult girl, once she’s fully grown.🤔

And for the first time maybe ever, for us anyway, we are confident in her age! The local animal shelter that she was surrendered to, was also given her full vetting paperwork upon her surrender. 📝

With her beautiful dark coat and curious spirit, she truly is a lovely blend of two wonderful breeds. True to her name, Nutmeg brings the perfect amount of warmth to our hearts as she takes her very first steps of her new journey with us, in finding her forever home & family. 💜

We are giving this precious girl a few quiet days to decompress, unpack her bags, and get comfortable before she makes her official adoption-ready debut! So Stay tuned for more details and updates on our newest sweetheart! 🐾❤️

PS - we just had to also share Nutmeg’s original shelter picture too, just so you could see those ears in action! 🤣
