“I can focus on just resting and healing and not where a meal is for a bit.”

Those are the words of a recent Yes Girl! Program recipient.

Because of our donors, she was able to grocery shop for her family. Her refrigerator was full. Her children had snacks. They had fresh fruit and vegetables they hadn’t had in months. And she was able to buy her child a birthday cake that otherwise wouldn’t have happened.

She told us:

“We have fruit—we haven’t had fresh fruit in months—and fresh veggies. We were able to grocery shop for once and not rely on food banks… my fridge is full, my kids have snacks… I can focus on just resting and healing and not where a meal is for a bit.

This is what your YES makes possible.

And there is another woman who will need someone to say YES.

Come for the Book Signing. Leave Encouraged to Keep Writing Your Story.

There was a time when I didn’t know what the next chapter of my life would look like.

Cancer had entered my story—and with it came fear, uncertainty, change, questions, and a version of me that had to learn how to live differently.

But cancer did not get to write the ending.

I discovered that there was still love after cancer.
There was still hope.
There was still purpose.
There was still joy.
There was still ME. 🩵

That journey became Love After Cancer: A Journey Through H.E.A.T.—Hope, Empowerment, Affirmation & Transformation.
