X-Port PAWS

X-Port PAWS X-Port Paws is a Florida-based 501(c)3 nonprofit. Ours is an all-volunteer, non-profit.

Our focus is to pull dogs from shelters off the X-lists, which means dogs who are slated to to be killed, because they are too old, too pitie, too black or too behavioral. We came together to save dogs because there are too many wonderful dogs being destroyed when those dogs were, or still could be, someone’s beloved companion. The funds we raise provide transportation to safety, housing, vet care, food, supplies, and more....

Hello Dolly !!! She is working on getting HOME since she lost hers in Tx. Her home wasn’t 4star … living outside in the dirt. So we plan to make some upgrades.
Vaccines, spay and heartworm testing coming very soon. Then she will travel… somewhere she will find the soft bed she has always dreamed on the East coast. No fleas& ticks to scratch off. Just a home full of love and belly scratches.

Remember this South Tx Doberman mom and her 7 puppies that ran out of time at the shelter? Babies were sick with 2 viruses. We lost 2 puppies..: but they are now healthy and ready to be loved.
8 weeks old today and they are on their way next week to upstate NY to find their happily ever after. Bless all our donors who help us save lives ! Watch for their transport video next week!

Welcome to X-Port Paws . These 2 boys were part of pack of 9. The owner has lost her home and cannot take them. They were all originally strays that were dumped on her property one or two at a time. Now they run the fate of becoming strays all over again. If you can help any others, pm me.

Our X-Port Paws babies …waiting for their forever family in Long Island NY. Fostered by Karen B just before they were to be killed at an overcrowded South Tx shelter. We are so grateful to Karen and our rescue partner in NY. Could you just die from their sweetest faces?

EVITA was dumped in a Houston suburb on the night temperatures dipped below freezing this past winter with a broken pelvis. It is unfathomable that someone would just leave her to freeze with no way of finding shelter. X-Port Paws found a temporary foster and alerted the authorities. Of course no one stepped up to claim her. Michelle H and her family stepped up to fostered her for weeks until she was healed enough to travel to our wonderful rescue partner in VA. We love our rescue partner .. they found her the perfect home with a beautiful young family to call her own. Fostering saves lives. Thank you Michelle and Compassion Animal Rescue.
Check out Evita’s smile with her new mom and dad.
