It has been a nail biting weekend.
Just like Skye & Coral ( Puppies dumped at a construction site) these 2 sweet ones were dumped there too. And no one was stepping up to take before the holiday weekend. The construction company closed its gates Friday with not a soul to return until today, Tuesday. No food or water was allowed as they are against attracting “wildlife “.
Gloria Gonzales was able to grab the little brown pup on Friday. But there was no sign of the black and white one. We feared the worst.
Miracle today! The lost one showed up!!! Now she is named PERDITA. And along with her boyfriend RYDER, our VA rescue has tagged them. In 3-4 weeks they will be on their way to a new life.

In true Brittney fashion ..Whoops we did it again ! 🎶

We didn’t want to take on more. We begged and pleaded for help from others groups. But there is not space for every dog or home. Adoptions are slow & time had run out.

Momma PEARL Chi and 4 -6 week old babies
And FANCY , a 4 month old loveable border collie mix.
They will find new homes in the Dc/VA area soon.

PUPDATE…
Meet Jimmy. Jimmy came to us after a car accident and living under trailer in GA a few years ago with 3 unusable limbs.

We were able to get him transported & treated by the wonderful Dr Jehn in Tallahassee. He put the puzzle back together to allow Jimmy to walk again. After weeks of rehabilitation, the miracle happened. He could live a normal life.

Fast forward to today. Jimmy is now living the dream. He has been living a wonderful life with new family and 🐾 brother. . He recently was able to have a boney plate removed from his initial surgery and we were told, nothing stops him.
We hope that he has little memory of his early life. And continues to live the dream we wish for all X-Port Paws dogs.

This little dog has been living on the street in S Tx since May. Amber P***a never gave up on her. Now she will be heading for a home filled with loving arms, soft beds, medical care, and always a full belly.

Another pup in the clouds today to find her forever home in Upstate NY.
Dalila, a fox terrier mix started her very young life in the shelter in Memphis. Liz has been fostering her for a few weeks to get her healthy and spayed. Huge thanks to Joe Allard from Pilots N Paws for getting her to her destination and Veronika Mixon for chaffeuring the last leg home via ground transport.
