X-Port Paws is a Florida-based 501(c)3 nonprofit. Ours is an all-volunteer, non-profit.

Our focus is to pull dogs from shelters off the X-lists, which means dogs who are slated to to be killed, because they are too old, too pitie, too black or too behavioral. We came together to save dogs because there are too many wonderful dogs being destroyed when those dogs were, or still could be, someone’s beloved companion. The funds we raise provide transportation to safety, housing, vet care, food, supplies, and more....

You may wonder what that means.
10 super kind folks offer to drive one leg at a time north, roughly 60-100 miles .. and then hand off to the next driver until they reach their destination . The drive is posted on various chat groups. It is a wonderful way to help rescue. There is no commitment to do it again and again. Do it once or once in blue moon or every weekend. But it is a fun and rewarding way to help save a life. Drive with a friend .. or your kids to teach them what community service is. If interested on learning more, pm Michelle.
