Last night, we received an urgent referral for a young mom who was in the hospital and had nothing for her baby. Our team quickly stepped in, and today we provided her family with a car seat, safe sleeping space, clothing, diapers, and many other newborn essentials for when mom and baby are discharged.

This is just one of many stories of how we show up for our young families. Thank you to our incredible volunteers and community supporters who continue to donate and make moments like this possible! 🐝 💛

🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Sandy 🌟

Sandy has a heart for serving others and believes God has gifted her with the ministry of helps. A first-generation Italian American raised in Brooklyn, New York, she brings experience in finance, medical law, and healthcare to her volunteer role at the Alli and Aiden Foundation.

Sandy meets with young moms in our office, building relationships, providing education, encouragement, and connecting them with the baby supplies and resources they need. Her compassion and dedication make a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve.

The best part of our day is welcoming our families into our office. Our free store allows moms to pick out the baby supplies they need. These visits are more than just appointments, they’re moments to connect, support, and remind our moms that they are not alone on their journey. 🌻🐝

Four years ago, on 2/22/2022, we officially became a 501(c)(3) 🐝💛

We started with a mission to support young moms and their babies in our community, inspired by the love and legacy of Alli and Aiden. What we’ve learned along the way is this: sometimes it only takes one person to show they care to change someone’s day, their situation, and even their season of life.

Over the past four years, the Alli and Aiden Foundation has grown in ways we could have only prayed for. We’ve supported hundreds of young moms, partnered with incredible social workers and healthcare teams across Charlotte, and built a community rooted in compassion and hope. There’s so much more work to do!

✨ How We Work, How We Serve, How We Show Up ✨
We’ve had a lot of new friends join us here lately, so we wanted to share a little more about how Alli & Aiden Foundation supports moms and families.

Our support doesn’t stop at a referral, it becomes a relationship. From the first connection with a social worker, to personalized resource delivery, thoughtful follow up, and long term support, every step is designed to meet moms where they are and walk with them forward.

✨ Happy New Year from the Alli and Aiden Foundation ✨

As we step into a new year, we are taking a moment to reflect on what an incredible year this has been and the impact we have had the privilege to make.

This year, we:
• Received 227 new referrals for pregnant and parenting moms aged 21 and under
• Opened our brick-and-mortar Free Store
• Gave away 76 car seats and 91 safe sleep options
• Provided over 200 boxes of diapers
• Distributed over 250 bundles of clothing and countless other baby essentials
• Awarded 2 scholarships to young moms attending CPCC
• Hosted monthly parenting clubs at two high schools
• Organized a toy drive serving 29 families

None of this would be possible without our referring social workers, volunteers, community partners, donors, and most importantly our young families. Teen parenting is hard, and we are honored to be a source of support during such a critical season of life.

Alli and Aiden, you are a light to so many. We see you reflected in the strength, resilience, and hope of the families we serve. We hope you’re proud.

We’re grateful for over two years of collaboration with CareRing’s Nurse-Family Partnership. Their dedicated registered nurses provide in home pregnancy and parenting support, address social needs, and connect families to vital resources. We recently toured their beautiful new facility and learned more about their efforts to combat food insecurity, and we are so inspired.

Thank you to Megan, Jessica, and your amazing team of registered nurses who have made over 80 referrals to The Alli and Aiden Foundation over the last two years. This partnership has introduced us to so many incredible young moms and babies. 💛
