Warrenton takes its name from General Joseph Warren, one of the most influential figures of the early American Revolution. June 17 marks the anniversary of his death at the Battle of Bunker Hill in 1775. A Boston physician and leader in the Sons of Liberty, Warren became a martyr to the Patriot cause. Get to know him in this Warrenton Lifestyle article. Link in comments.

Can anyone out there help Donna Lynn Rector? She reached out to us with this message: Hello! I am in search of a photograph / portrait, or tin type, of a pair of my Paternal Great Great Grandparents.
One of my Paternal Great Great Grandmothers, was Margaret Payne, and she married my Great Great Grandfather, in my direct, Rector line, William Nelson Rector. I have been searching for a portrait of the two of them, for DECADES.
If anyone in the Payne family has access to a photo / portrait of Margaret Payne, or, even better yet, a portrait of the two of them, I would be eternally grateful.
William Nelson Rector (1841 - 1919)
Margaret Payne (1838 - 1908)
