OUR MISSION:
To serve and preserve the American Mustang through education, demonstration, adoption and awareness. The wild mustang is more than just a symbol of the West- they are an American icon and a living piece of our nation’s history and spirit. These resilient horses represent freedom, perseverance, and the timeless bond between nature an

d humanity. Instead, over 60,000 mustangs are held in government facilities across the US, awaiting a fate out of their control. TAMO’s goal is to give these incredible horses a life beyond holding facilities and uncertainty, and help them share their many gifts with the people they meet along the way. TRAINING- THE BRIDGE TO SUCCESSFUL ADOPTIONS:
One of the biggest challenges preventing successful adoptions is lack of training. Unlike domestic horses, wild mustangs have never been handled by humans, so even the most basic interactions are something they must learn from scratch. TAMO’s in-depth training program will provide these horses with the comprehensive and compassionate education they need to begin a life of partnership with people. HOW YOU CAN HELP:
