🇺🇸 Honoring Our Veterans at Rectortown UMC 🇺🇸

On Sunday, November 8th, we invite you to join us at Rectortown United Methodist Church for a special worship service recognizing and honoring the men and women who have served our country.

We are grateful for the courage, dedication, and sacrifices of our veterans, and we would be honored to have them worship alongside us as we take time to recognize and give thanks for their service.

To our church family: Please take a moment to personally invite a veteran you know! Whether they are a family member, friend, neighbor, or fellow community member, we would love for them to be our guests. A personal invitation can make all the difference.

Everyone is welcome! Come help us celebrate, remember, and give thanks to those who have served.

We hope to see you Sunday, November 8th! ❤️🤍💙

🍁 Hello, November! A Season of Gratitude 🍁

As the leaves fall and the days grow cooler, we’re reminded to pause and notice the many ways God’s grace surrounds us. This month, may we open our hands in generosity, welcome our neighbors with love, remember those whose faith paved the way, and find joy in the everyday blessings we sometimes take for granted.

At Rectortown United Methodist Church, we believe faith grows stronger when we share it—with kindness, compassion, service, and grateful hearts. ❤️

May November bring you moments of peace, opportunities to bless others, and countless reasons to give thanks.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his steadfast love endures forever.” — Psalm 107:1 (NRSVUE)

From our church family to yours, may you have a blessed November!

🍂🌻 Faith Grows Here! 🌻🍂

Just as a seed takes root in good soil, faith grows when we nurture it with love, kindness, and a willingness to serve others. God calls us closer, makes us new, and invites us to shine His light in our everyday lives.

At Rectortown United Methodist Church, we believe faith grows best when we grow together — welcoming our neighbors, sharing God’s love, and making room for everyone at the table. ❤️

So, as the leaves change and autumn settles in, let’s remember that even the smallest acts of love can plant seeds of faith that make a lasting difference.

“We are called to shine His light.” — Matthew 5:16
