Today, on this side of the world, marks the 75th anniversary of my Mother's birth in 1950. I am who I am because of who she was. She didn't have any money to leave me when she passed away; she died empty, just as she lived, having poured out everything she had for those around her. However, she left me something far more valuable: an inheritance more precious than money – her undying love and the core stability of a loyalty that transcends death. The memory of how deeply she covered and protected me is sufficient still to give me the courage and confidence to stand, and having done all to stand, keep standing, even now. Most of all, Mama left me the Word of God, which has sustained me the same way it also sustained her all the days of her life. She also left me laughter, the priceless ability to still be able find the fragments of joy, even in the midst of sorrow, pain, and disappointment, and weave them together as one anew. I was not ready to let her go and I never shall be. She abides. Not only in Zion. But the essence of her spirit yet abides here on Earth, inside of me, and inside of her other descendants. She, like Jesus who imparted eternal life to her in 1964, was, and is, and is to come. This awful separation from her is only temporary for me, thanks to the great gift of Salvation and the everlasting promise of Heaven. —Rev. Stephen

I am quite heartbroken by the death of my friend, my brother, my fellow Missionary, a man who, like me, also loved humanity and experiencing the vastness of God’s creation. He sacrificed to send me to the Nations, and he sacrificed by uprooting himself and his Family and going to the uttermost with the Gospel himself. My heart, abiding love, and fervent Prayers are with his Wife, Sister Bilita, their Son, Thomas, the extended Sipe + Watson Families, and with the Saints in Africa who came to know and love Jesus in greater measure because of Jeremy. Please join me in interceding for them, ALL. —Rev. Stephen
