Our mission as a service learning nonprofit is to create youth volunteer experiences, in which we all learn and grow from giving Kindness to our community. We encourage volunteers of all ages to benefit in the Joy of giving their time & compassion to our neighbors in need. KIDS CARE also raises awareness about environmental stewardship. Our name is an acrostic poem for (KIDS) Kindness In Doing Service (CARE ) Connecting And Respecting Everyone.

Friday some of our many "Backing the Need" business partners joined us for a tour of the Cobb County Police Academy.

Understanding the high standards, unique response capabilities, dedication and service our police department delivers to our county allows us all to expand our knowledge & continued support of our friends at the Cobb County Police Department.

Thank you to our local business partners for your support during our school supply drive this summer and for your interest in supporting local first responders. Your participation truly helps build a better community.

💙 Special thanks to Cobb Collaborative & Mind Your Mind Cobb for donating 350 mental health kits to our "Backing the Need" Program this year.

We are so thankful to have added these resources to the K-12 backpacks that we donated to Cobb County students in need this year.

Uniting community for a greater cause. Our 6th Annual "Backing the Need" Backpack and School Supply Drive was an incredible day of generosity!

💙 Together we packed & donated 1,198 backpacks to Cobb County students in need of essential school supplies!

Thank you to the awesome humans who came together on July 18th to donate school supplies, pack backpacks and support our nonprofits mission. We are so grateful for you all! What an incredible impact we have made!

150 Kindness Cards for 1st Responders ✔️

What a busy night at National Night Out this past Thurs. We loved engaging the community to create kindness for local 1st Responders.

The best part - people got to make & take their cards & immediately deliver them to any of the first responder on site.

Police, Fire, EMS, Sheriff, Military, Mounted Calvary, Search & Rescue, Water Rescue & More!

Engaging the community in this type of Kindness created smiles for both the giver & the receiver! 😊 (and us!)

Multiple Target stores in Cobb County (District 334) joined together with Cobb County Police Department & KIDS CARE to support local students in need this past Saturday.

This team of Target Stores donated over $3,600 in new school supplies and had 10 volunteers who each served two hours at our big event. 👏

So grateful for the big impact they have made & the continued community partnership to our Backing the Need program.
