Life Update: On Sept 16th, I, Amie Burke, KIDS CARE co-founder, survived a life-threatening medical emergency. Anaphylactic shock of unknown allergy.

I've since been recovering and managing side effects of the trauma. All in all - the great news is, with some more rest and recovery, I will be OK.

Special thanks to my daughter Jaida for getting me to care just in time, Nick Adams, MetroAtlanta Ambulance Service of Marietta, Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center ER and my husband Patrick. All critical components of my emergency care for which I am eternally grateful for.

So, our social media has dropped off, but we've continued on with our scheduled fall service experiences. And because they bring us such Joy, we will continue to serve and someday catch up on the social media! Just know, we're still doing great things with great people for great people. 💙

Bigger hugs, deeper gratitude.
