Camp starts this week, and we'd love for you to join us in praying. 💙

🙏 PATIENTS & FAMILIES
We have 8 patients currently on or recently off treatment joining us with their families. Please pray for safe travels, that they would be healthy enough to make the journey, and that they would experience rest, hope, and belonging throughout the week. Pray that they would feel deeply loved and supported, find moments of joy in the midst of difficult circumstances, and leave encouraged, refreshed, and reminded that they are not walking this road alone. May this week be a time of healing, connection, and lasting memories for every family.

🙏 VOLUNTEERS
We have 44 volunteers, ranging in age from 2 to 78, who have said yes to spending the week loving and selflessly serving these families. Please pray for their strength and energy, for eyes to deeply see and connect with each family, and for opportunities to share the hope and love of Christ.

🙏 CAMP WEEK
We have four days of nonstop fun, beach adventures, and special activities designed just for these families. Pray that God would use this week to encourage hearts, strengthen families, and change lives. Pray for sunshine, blue skies, safety, and sweet memories. Most of all, pray that Jesus would be magnified in every conversation, every activity, and every detail.

In one moment, everything shifts.

From patient… to courageous hero. 💙

Last month, we had the honor of placing a Courageous Hero medal on a little girl who has walked through more than most could ever imagine. And yet—there she was, smiling, called by name, receiving what has always been true of her.

Not defined by treatment. Not defined by hardship. But seen for who she really is: brave, strong, and deeply courageous.

This is why we gather. This is what we get to witness. ✨

To be known by name.

To be deeply seen.

It takes one sharpie. One poster. One hand - no matter how little or old - to make real the reality that there’s a God who’s heart perfectly and intentionally made His people, knows them inside and out, and has their name engraved on His palm (Isaiah 49:16).

Thank you for our volunteers who help us make this verse a reality- by writing our families names on posters, name tags, mailboxes, and on their hearts. Thank you for reflecting the heart of Christ that in the midst of a season where so many families feel unseen, unknown, and like their names have been forgotten- may they be reminded at camp, today, wherever they are - that there’s a God who’s heart can never forget the one His hands so intentionally and beautifully created and whose names are forever on His mind, forever on His breath.

Thank you Jesus for knowing our names.
Thank you Jesus for knowing us inside and out.
Thank you Jesus that even when the world forgets us - you never do!

Summer at Blue Skies is CALLING! ☀️🩵

Our mission at blue skies is that EVERY family facing pediatric would experience hope and blue skies in the midst of the storms of pediatric cancer. This summer we have a few spots left and want to make sure that every family who needs a week of rest, joy, and community gets the chance to experience it. ☀️🩵

Whether your family is currently in treatment, post-treatment, or grieving, Blue Skies is a place to breathe, laugh, connect, and just be together again.
