Pinal County Community!!!!

Coming together is more than standing in the same place it is accepting responsibility for one another.

People endured prison cells, violence, separation from their families, and even death in the fight for equality. They carried burdens so that generations they would never meet could have greater freedom and opportunity. We honor their sacrifice by how we live, what we teach, and whether we speak when others are mistreated.

We must wake up to our responsibility. Our children need to know whose shoulders they stand on, what it cost to open doors, and why those doors must remain open for everyone. Teach them history, compassion, courage, and how to recognize injustice.

Today was an awesome time. Our community is stronger when we come together, even when we see things differently. We can respect our differences, listen with compassion, and stand united in our commitment to the people we serve.

The NAACP Pinal Branch will have a vendor table at the event, and our walking team will step off at 11:00 AM.
