The Maricopa Community Foundation is a public charity that allows individuals, businesses, and other non-profit organizations to establish permanent endowments and temporary funds within the confines of one large foundation. Foundation funds provide grants to non-profit organizations and scholarships to area students. The Maricopa Community Foundations serves the greater Maricopa area in the State of Arizona.

Graduation season is HERE!

We are thrilled to share that on Monday, May 13th, two Maricopa High School Seniors were awarded scholarships from the Maricopa Community Foundation.

On behalf of the John E. and Mary Lou Smith Scholarship, we awarded $1,000 scholarships to Dante Westmiller and Gabrielle Castillo. We also awarded Dante Westmiller the $1,000 Ioanna Morfessis Family Scholarship and Gabrielle Castillo the $1,000 Orbitel Communications Scholarship.

Gayle Randolph, Vice-Chair and Scholarship Committee Member was proud to present these scholarships to two outstanding students.

We hope you will join us and wish them and all of the 2024 graduates much success!

We've got a Brand New SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT to share with you!

We're excited to let you know about the Trade School Scholarship from 911 Air Repair LLC

This one-time single scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of a City of Maricopa high school. The recipient must have graduated with a 3.0 GPA or higher, show that they are attending a Trade School (welding, refrigeration school, mechanic program, etc.), and show financial need.

The Community Foundation Scholarship Program consists of separate scholarship funds created by individual donors who establish specific criteria for the administration of their scholarship and is consistent with overall Community Foundation policy.

Scholarships are available to local students who will attend an accredited post-secondary institution within the United States of America full-time.

Applications are available until April 1st for new applicants and previous scholarship awardees.
