Housing affordability is a hot topic in SOMA. To preserve the socioeconomic, racial and generational diversity of South Orange and Maplewood, we must address the elephant in the room: rising housing costs🏡

Our Residential Committee is hosting a Town Hall conversation on Wednesday, 6/24, from 7-9 PM at the Maplewood Memorial Library with Mayor Sheena Collum and Mayor Victor DeLuca. Join us as we discuss zoning, development, affordable housing and neighborhood issues that will shape our community's future. We want to hear your perspectives, so please bring your questions to the discussion.

Will we see you on Saturday?

Observe with your family this weekend at our Pride-themed One World Playgroup for preschool children ages 2-5 (and their siblings!). They’ll participate in a fun activity led by local therapists while parents and guardians socialize and learn vital strategies for talking about LGBTQIA+ identity. Snacks will be provided!
