HOLIDAY FOOD SUPPORT
Each year, as the holiday season approaches, our school PTAs and HSAs, SOMSD Parenting Center, Cougar Cares, and the Achieve Foundation work together to assist SOMSD families experiencing food insecurity.

We're only halfway to our $28,000 goal, so please consider donating any amount to our 5th Annual Thanksgiving Gift Card Drive to help our friends and neighbors this holiday season. Reaching our fundraising goal will allow us to provide $100 grocery gift cards to 280 SOMSD families before Thanksgiving weekend.

Donate via Achieve (by 11/6, please): https://givebutter.com/Thanksgiving2026GiftCards

Your generosity directly supports our CHS community ... thank you!

WANTED: MM27 LEADERS
Midnight Madness has been a beloved CHS tradition for almost 40 years!

On the night of graduation, the entire senior class is invited to embark on a substance-free, phone-free mystery overnight adventure. Fundraising efforts help minimize the cost for graduates, making this CHS milestone event accessible to all seniors who want to participate.

We urgently need team leaders to help make this event a success for the graduating class of 2027. If you have any experience in project management or party planning, we would love to have you on the team. We are also looking for a Senior Signs Chair who will oversee the production and distribution of the graduation lawn signs for all seniors.

Please contact [email protected] if you are interested in volunteering or if you’d like to learn more about how you can participate in this wonderful tradition.
