Rent Party Rent Party is dedicated to fighting hunger hyper-locally in Maplewood-South Orange. The proceeds from these shows help fight hunger in our community.

Supporting local food pantries, growing fresh produce for our neighbors in need, and our BackPack Pals program supports 125+ kids each weekend during the school year. Started in 2009, Rent Party is a once a month live music event at The Woodland. We support three local food pantries. We built and maintain a large community garden on the front lawn of the South Orange Elks that raises fresh produce for the pantries we support. Garland's "Wild in the Streets" by The Circle Jerks underscored a scene in TED LASSO in Season 4, episode 4, aired last night on Apple TV. It featured Roy Kent (the gravel voiced Brett Goldstein) getting busy with a barmaid. Perfect pairing!

Rent Party Family! We're confident that many of you remember Tom Nevius from the shows (Senior Barback!) or from The Garden (Site foreman and Mr. Fix It!).

We're delighted to be part of this initiative to honor our late friend.

Please consider making a small donation.

Maplewood’s Dickens Village will add “Tom’s Workshop,” honoring the memory of local craftsman Tom Nevius and his lasting community contributions.
