ommitment to building character in young athletes through team cohesiveness via football, sports training and physical conditioning for well over 30 years. McCombs, Jr.'s relentless humanitarian efforts in urban ministry and scholarly research in Egyptology and African American History. In memory of Mrs. (McCombs) Hooper's contributions to neighborhood cohesion and municipal involvement in the City of Newark and surrounding areas. In memory of Pastor Mark C. McCombs' passion for teaching, empowering youth, coaching and imparting practical biblical principles.
