New Scholars and families, please join us from 9:30-10:45 a.m.; and returning students and families we look forward to welcoming you back from 11-11:45 a.m. Get ready for a summer filled with fun, teaching, learning, and BREAKTHROUGH! 💙💛

Breakthrough Manchester Directors Deb McLoud and Morgan Loomis, along with The Derryfield School's Director of Equity and Belonging, Anela Kruščica, attended the NPEA -- National Partnership for Educational Access conference in Atlanta last week. It was an empowering experience to join equity leaders from throughout the country for 3 days of inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking panel discussions, and invigorating workshops. Deb and Anela presented a Roundtable on "Embedding Belonging: Everyday Practices Building Joyful Communities," which engendered thoughtful discussions among school and community-based leaders. Morgan's victory in the "Game On" challenges won her a free registration for next year's conference! We can't wait to share the new ideas and lessons learned with the Breakthrough and Derryfield communities!

Camp was the perfect theme for our final Super Saturday as we gear up for summer and conclude our school year program. Engagement was high as Scholars collaborated on building outdoor shelters, sundials, and support towers; a s'mores riddle treasure hunt; and crafting and telling spooky stories. It was a wonderful school year of connection as our high school Teaching Interns formed bonds and shared their knowledge and skills with our middle school Scholars. Thank you for your commitment and dedication!
